The nation is grief stricken due to a massive train accident that happened at Jodha Pathak in Amritsar, Punjab while people were immersed in Dussehra celebrations today. A speeding train killed almost 60 people who were enjoying the festivities while standing on the railway tracks.

The deafening sound of multiple firecrackers going off at the same time had muffled the siren of the train, giving no one any chance to realise what was happening and in fraction of 10-15 seconds, the train ran over scores of people.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Ramnath Kovind, Punjab CM Amarinder Singh and several political leaders have come ahead to express their shock over the incident. Bollywood stars also expressed their grief regarding the tragedy. Have a look at the tweets of some major Bollywood stars.
