Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are certainly one of the most-loved couples of Bollywood and their chemistry is adored by many. The fabulous duo, who has previously shared screen space in Omkara (2006), Tashan (2008) and Kurbaan (2009) among others, was last seen together in Agent Vinod (2012). But they haven’t collaborated for a project ever since they tied the knot six years ago.
Now in an interview with a leading daily, Saif revealed why the two of them don’t appear in films together anymore. Accepting that it is all his doing, the Nawab of Pataudi said, "I’ve been saying no to working with Bebo in recent years because I’ve always ensured that there’s a clear demarcation between my personal and professional life. Now, however, the lines are blurring. With my father (Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi) not being around and me being the defacto head of the family, my outlook has changed."

Well, does that mean we will see them together in a film soon? Talking about it, Saif said that it would depend if a good enough script comes along the way by stating, "Bebo and I will work together in the near future, provided the script does justice to both of us. I’m a good enough actor and I’m improving. So, I might be able to actually perform something interesting with her."
Further admitting that he tends to become complacent, the Sacred Games actor said, “When I am with Kareena on screen, I end up not performing. I become deferential and slightly boring in the frame. I don’t compete and give enough energy. I kind of play myself, which is bad." He also pointed out that there's tendency to slip into a certain comfort zone when you're working with someone that you know too well. "And comfort is the enemy of cinema. Tension is what you want," Saif concluded.
