Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty are all set to share screen space for the first time in a quirky wedding-comedy, titled Motichoor Chaknachoor. The film is being produced by Rajesh Bhatia and marks the Bollywood debut of popular television director Debamitra Hassan. Now adding to the excitement, the film has finally gone on floors today and will extensively be shot in Lucknow and Bhopal.
We have got our hands on a few pictures of the team as they commenced their journey. Check it out:

Talking about the film, Rajesh had earlier termed the film as a "humorous story of an unlikely couple" and told a leading daily, "There is a lot of situational comedy that plays out between the bride and the groom’s families and Nawaz playing the hero makes it all the more exciting." Apparently, both Athiya and Nawazuddin have gone extensive language and accent coaching in order to perfect their dialect for the film.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Athiya last featured in Anees Bazmee’s comedy-caper Mubarakan while Nawazuddin was last seen in Nandita Das' Manto. Now we are certainly looking forward to see this unconventional pair on the silver screen.
