Television actress Shilpa Shinde is all set to make her silver screen debut with director Prem Soni's Radha Kyon Gori Main Kyon Kaala, where she will be seen sharing the space with Salman Khan's rumored girlfriend, Iulia Vantur. Earlier Shilpa has done a special dance in number in Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi in 2017, but this will the veteran TV actress' first full-fledged role in Hindi films.

In an exclusive interaction with PeepingMoon.com, Shilpa expressed her excitement on her debut film and shared, "My role in the film still under the covers, I can't be vocal about the project. But yes, I am a part of it (Radha Kyon Gori Main Kyon Kaala). When the time comes, I will definitely make an official announcement."

Reports suggest that none other than Salman Khan was the one to suggest her name for the role. For the unversed, Shilpa won Bigg Boss 11 season which is hosted by Salman Khan. Bhaijaan was always a Shilpa supporter in the game and applauded her fair play till the end. To this, the actress replied, "Many people asked me why I didn't ask him (Salman) for work earlier. I've never refrained from asking him for anything. In fact, I never had to ask; Salman takes good care of his friends."

Looks like Bhaijaan indeed gave a kickstart to two Bollywood careers here.

As per a close source from the film, Shilpa’s role will be similar to Hema Malini’s iconic role in Sholay. She will be playing a bubbly and chirpy character in the film. The actress will soon start shooting for the film as the project will begin in Mathura.
