Sania Mirza gives birth to a baby boy; proud father Shoaib Malik says 'we are humbled'

Tennis star Sania Mirza and her Pakistani cricketer husband Shoaib Malik were blessed with a baby boy on Tuesday. The proud father shared the news on his Twitter account and excitedly welcomed #BabyMirzaMalik. Stating that both the mother and child are doing fine, he wrote, "Thank you for the wishes and Duas, we are humbled."

In fact Farah Khan, who happens to be one of Sania's closest friends, was among the first ones to break the news. Mentioning how she is now a 'khaala', Farah congratulated the couple and the families for the birth of a baby boy.

She shared a selfie with Sania as well and expressed her delight on her friend finally embracing motherhood.

After confirming her pregnancy news in April this year, the 32-year-old Indian player had shared several pictures of herself with the family over the past few months. Meanwhile, rumours were also rife recently that Sania has already given birth to a baby boy but Shoaib refuted all rumours that they will make "a proper announcement when the kid decides to arrive."
