Abhishek Bachchan begins filming Anurag Basu's next in Kolkata; check out his first look

After a hiatus of two years, Abhishek Bachchan made his much-awaited Bollywood comeback with Anurag Kashyap's Manmarziyaan alongside Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. Although the film only managed a decent business at the box-office, Abhishek's performance in the film won him appreciation from all corners. What's more, the actor has already moved on to his next project, which is being helmed by ace filmmaker Anurag Basu.

Now adding to the excitement, we have got our hands on a few pictures of Abhishek as he is busy shooting for the upcoming film in the Chinsurah area of Hooghly district, near Kolkata. The pictures have not only left us excited but his rustic look certainly reminds us of his Yuva days. Check it out:

In a few other pictures posted by fan pages, we can also see bruises on the actor's forehead. Now we cannot wait to know more about Abhishek's character in the film.

Meanwhile, earlier on the occasion of Dusshera, Abhishek had posted a picture of Anurag on Instagram hinting at their upcoming collaboration and now with the latest pictures, the rumours have turned out to be true.

On a related note, Anurag had recently confirmed that his film with Abhishek is not at all like Life... In A Metro sequel, as it was speculated to be. In fact, he also expressed his delight on working with the actor and said, "I am glad that he said 'yes' as after writing a few scenes, I could imagine Abhishek doing this film. Even he agreed after reading those few scenes."
