Four years after Ek Villain, Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh are all set to reunite on the silver screen for Milap Zaveri’s upcoming film, titled Marjaavaan. What's more, the two actors will be joined by Tara Sutaria, who will make her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Student of the Year 2. Confirming the news on Twitter, Milap revealed that Marjaavaan will hit the theaters on October 2, 2019.

Meanwhile Nikkhil Advani, who is producing the film with T-series honcho Bhushan Kumar, has termed the film as "a violent, dramatic love story". Speaking to a leading daily, he stated, "With Milap at the helm post the confidence he has gained from Satyameva Jayate and his strength in the dialogue and drama department we are confident we have another winner. Tara joining the team just adds to the freshness and excitement. Her character is one of the USPs of the film."

On a related note, Bhushan too is excited to collaborate with Nikkhil and is looking forward to an "engaging story". Milap, on the other hand, expressed his gratitude on collaborating with T-Series and Emmay again after Satyameva Jayate.

Marjaavaan is slated to go on the floors in December this year and expected to wrap up by March. Reportedly, the film will be shot at massive outdoor set which is presently being constructed in Mumbai. On choosing October 2 as the release date, Nikkhil pointed out, "So, it’s a long Dussehra weekend and Raavan plays a significant role in the plot too so it’s the ideal date for us."

To say the least, expectations from the film are certainly high with Sidharth and Riteish coming together again. Now with Tara on board as well, we wonder what more she would add to the much-awaited project.
