Zero is seeing it either as completeness or as nothing, for me it's about completeness: SRK

Shah Rukh Khan on his 53rd birthday today gave his fans a much wanted gift-the trailer of his upcoming film Zero. The film also features Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in the lead and is directed by Aanand L Rai. Shah Rukh plays a vertically challenged character in the film that presumably is often termed a ‘zero’ in the film. During the trailer launch and the media interaction that followed, Shah Rukh spoke about the meaning of ‘zero’ in his life.

During the press conference, Shah Rukh said, “Zero is about seeing it either as completeness or as nothing. For me it's about completeness.” He also said, “I am not hugely talented like Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar or Dilip Kumar, I was just fond of acting. Many people told me ‘you don’t look nice’, ‘your nose is too big’, and ‘you talk too fast, you’re not tall enough’, but I worked on it.”

He also said that everyone goes through ups and downs in life. Shah Rukh said, “There's always a moment in life where u feel Zero. Even Aamir Khan feels the same but it's important to have lack of overconfidence. I work harder when I feel I'm not good enough.”

Hearing him talk about the criticisms that even he faced during his career and how he overcame all the obstacles is really inspiring and motivating, isn’t it?
