Deepika Padukone’s and Ranveer Singh’s wedding is only a week away and the most-awaited event of the year will be held on November 14 and 15 at Lake Como in Italy. Since the time they announced the dates of their wedding, fans, as well as their Bollywood colleagues, have flooded their social media timeline with congratulatory messages. Today, it was the turn of director Rohit Shetty who directed Deepika in Chennai Express and is now directing Ranveer in Simmba.
Rohit took to his Instagram and shared a heartfelt message for Ranveer as they completed the shoot of the film Simmba that also stars Sara Ali Khan in the lead. He wrote, “6th June 2018, Exactly 5 Months ago today, the journey of Simmba began and as this adventurous journey ends for our Simmba a.k.a. Sangram Bhalerao, I am filled with mixed emotions. Simmba being our first film together, was full of fun, laughter and unending memories. It's truly been wonderful knowing him as a person and as an actor who is honest, hardworking and so passionate about his craft. I can vouch today that no-one else could have been a better Simmba than Ranveer Singh making Simmba (as my team says) My best film so far.”

I am proud to show off today that my Simmba is marrying my Meenamma!!! I Wish them all the luck for a blissfully beautiful future together. @ranveersingh @deepikapadukone #simmba."
