Thugs of Hindostan starring Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles was one of the most anticipated films of the year. However, although the film saw great business at the box office because of the advance booking and the hype surrounding it, the film has not lived up to the expectations of either the critics or the audience. The film has been panned by critics and trolled on social media by the cinegoers, and to top the woes of the filmmakers the film got leaked online as well.

Thugs of Hindostan which is one of the most expensive films ever made is produced and distributed by Yash Raj Films and has now been leaked online on a site called TamilRockers (the website is well-known to host HD pirated versions of films). Thugs of Hindostan also features Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif in integral roles.

However, some dedicated fans have urged the authorities to take severe action against the website. The site TamilRockers is well known for piracy and has previously leaked films like Sarkar (Tamil). It had come under the scanner of Tamil Film Producers Council and they had released a statement saying that the website must be prevented from leaking films online. However, to no avail, as another biggie has been leaked.
