In an interview with a leading magazine, Kareena talked about motherhood, her comeback to the big screen post her maternity break and being a working mom. She said, "I wanted to be a mother, but at the same time, I was not ready to give up my entire life. It’s important that Taimur sees a woman who comes home after a hard day’s work and is happy. Also, let’s be honest, women are better at multitasking!” She further added, “It’s so important to do the things you love. If I am not happy, how do I keep my family happy?”
