Both the films chose me and I feel very lucky: Sara Ali Khan on doing Kedarnath and Simmba

Saif Ali Khan’s and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan is all set to make her Bollywood debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Abhishek Kapoor directed Kedarnath. The film’s trailer has been launched today and the film looks a breathtaking spectacle of nature’s wrath, fury as well as serenity. During the trailer launch, Sara who will have another release in Rohit Shetty’s Simmba opposite Ranveer Singh was asked whether she wanted her debut film to be Kedarnath or Simmba.

Sara replied to the question and said, “How do I answer this. Both are such different experiences, both the films chose me and I feel very lucky.”

Sara also spoke about how she took on Kedarnath because she fell in love with the script. She said, “I was studying 2-3 years ago and my father Saif Ali Khan always said that first complete your studies but when I got to read the story of Kedarnath I decided that I will not listen to anyone and I’ll do that film because I loved the script.” She further added, “I remember we had the narration at Sandeep Khosla’s house and I remember by the end of it everyone was in tears and it was a feeling like no other.”

Sara was also extremely polite and humble during the trailer launch. She said, “Thank you for being so kind and polite even before seeing any of my work.”

Sara definitely looks very promising in the trailer and she does not give the vibes that she is a debutante. We wish her all the love and luck to have a great career in Bollywood.
