It’s been 14 years since Veer – Zaara released on November 12, 2004, and Preity Zinta, in a post on Instagram, reminisced memories apart from thanking the entire cast and crew of the film for the “unforgettable experience.” Directed by legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra, Veer – Zaara cast Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji in the principal roles apart from Preity.
In her post, Preity remembered Yash Chopra, adding that she felt fortunate to be a part of the “timeless, decent, inspiring and full of heart film.” Her post accompanied a short clip of the popular song Tere Liye from the film and snippets from the video. “It’s sad we don’t love Like that anymore,” Preity added. True that.

Veer – Zaara chronicled the tragic love story of an Indian Air Force pilot and a Pakistani woman (Preity) while Rani was cast as a lawyer in the film. The film was received well by critics as well as fans and was a commercial success at the box office.

As far as its music is concerned, every song of Veer – Zaara was a chartbuster, to say the least, and remains popular even after years.
Veer – Zaara won several awards as well including the Filmfare Award for Best Film.
