And the wait is over, guys. The first picture of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh after their wedding has been released and it is such a breathtaking sight. Deepika and Ranveer married in an extremely private ceremony in Lake Como, Italy on November 14 in Konkani tradition.

Deepika and Ranveer along with their respective families jetted off to Italy over the weekend as the couple was photographed at the Mumbai airport. Festivities commenced earlier this week as their sangeet and mehendi ceremonies were held on November 13 while sources said that Deepika and Ranveer performed to their hit songs such as Kabira and Baari Barsi. Adhering to the theme both Ranveer and Deepika donned white and orange typical Konkani wedding outfits by ace fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee on their big day.

Both Ranveer and Deepika took the big happy news on Twitter themselves.

Two weeks ago, Deepika and Ranveer shared their wedding invites on social media and announced that they are getting married on November 14 and 15. Before leaving for Italy, Ranveer’s haldi ceremony was held at his Mumbai residence.
