The latest song Sweetheart from Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan starrer Kedarnath was launched today. Unlike the previous song Namo Namo that established Sushant’s character of a pithoo in the film, Sweetheart is a romantic, peppy song featured during what looks like a pre-wedding celebration. Both Sushant and Sara look adorable in the song and Sara who is making her debut in this film has done a swell job matching her footsteps with Sushant who is an effortless dancer.

The song Sweetheart is a romantic track where Sushant is expressing his love and admiration for Sara at the backdrop of a mehendi function in a Muslim household. Sara looks pretty in a bright yellow sharara and Sushant is looking dapper wearing a pathani kurta. The song has been composed by Amit Trivedi and lyrics have been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Sweetheart has been sung by Dev Negi.

Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan in Kedarnath

Kedarnath is directed by Abhishek Kapoor and is set at the backdrop of the Kedarnath floods of 2013 that ravaged the valley. The film is a love story between a Hindu girl Mukku played by Sara and a Muslim pithoo Mansoor played by Sushant. The film is all set to release on December 7.
