The first official pictures of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone from their wedding-both Konkani and Sindhi have made all of us emotional and believe in everlasting eternal love. Deepika’s million-dollar smile and Ranveer’s jubilation is infectious in the pictures.
However, what caught our attention were the wedding rings of the duo. Deepika’s sparkling wedding ring and Ranveer’s solid gold band had our full attention while we were busy going aww over their wedding pictures.
Ranveer looks handsome in an off-white and gold kurta and dhoti for the Konkani wedding with the traditional mundavali. The wedding ring is gifted by the bride’s family wherein the groom is kept captive with the bride’s father washing his feet as per traditions. Following this ritual, a gold ring is offered and placed on the finger with a sacred thread put on him.
On the other hand, from the Anand Karaj ceremony picture we got a glimpse of Deepika’s engagement ring as the couple got married in a Phool Muddi ceremony. The square-shaped shiny rock is indeed gorgeous and breathtaking. It looks extremely special and stands out from all the other jewelry Deepika is seen wearing. The ring is a diamond piece and looks enthralling and it costs a whopping Rs 1.3-2.7 crore!
