The Punjabi-Sindhi style wedding ceremony, known as the Anand Karaj, which means a joyful union commenced on November 15. According to reports, for the Anand Karaj, a priest was flown all the way from Amritsar to Italy to perform the rituals. and as the ritual goes, the ceremony was to take place at the Gurudwara. And hence, a makeshift Gurudwara was also built within the Villa Del Balbianello for the Anand Karaj. The report further mentioned that the Anand Karaj started off in the morning, and went on till the afternoon.
