After songs like Namo Namo and Sweetheart, the makers of Kedarnath have unveiled their third song Qaafirana from the film and it showcases the innocent chemistry and budding romance between lead actors, Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan.
Composed and produced by ace composer Amit Trivedi, the lyrics of the song have been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Crooned by Arijit Singh and Nikita Gandhi, Qaafirana is soulful and will certainly keep you hooked. The video showcases how Sara is intrigued by Sushant and thus, makes subtle advances towards him. Eventually, he finally gives in and the visuals of the picturesque Kedarnath valley just add more to the romance.
For the unversed, Sushant essays the role of a cheerful and hard-working Muslim pithoo who carries the devotees on his back to the Kedarnath shrine for livelihood while Sara essays the role of a bubbly Hindu devotee who falls in love with her bearer. It is intriguing to see is how love blossoms between them, get hit by caste barriers and eventually gets tangled with the devastating Uttarakhand floods that hit the state in 2013.
