Royal is the word that fits the bill as far as Deepika Padukone’s and Ranveer Singh’s Bengaluru reception is concerned as the couple made an elegant appearance at the event held at The Leela Palace Hotel on November 21 for close friends and family. On Instagram, meanwhile, we found inside pictures from the reception that were made available by Ranveer's cousin Keshav Hingorani and several other fan clubs, and we are more than delighted.

For her Bengaluru reception, Deepika opted for a gold saree while Ranveer was handsome in a black bandhgala by Rohit Bal. Deepika was styled by designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee as she wore elaborate jewellery while sindoor and flowers in her hair bun made her look resplendent.

Deepika and Ranveer married according to Konkani and North Indian rituals in Italy. The Konkani wedding was held on November 14 and the North Indian wedding, on November 15.

Ranveer and Deepika’s wedding was a private affair as only 40 guests were reportedly invited. The couple returned to Mumbai on Monday and will host two receptions after the Bengaluru event – in Mumbai, on November 28 for selected media and friends and on December 1 in Mumbai as well for the film fraternity.

Ranveer’s sister Ritika Bhavnani will host a special dinner for the newlyweds on November 24 as reported exclusively by PeepingMoon.
