The entire team of Siddharth Roy Kapur's and Shonali Bose's next, titled The Sky is Pink, gave a farewell party to soon to be bride Priyanka Chopra. It was the actress' last day of shoot as she had leave for her wedding preparations and hence, the cast and crew decided to give her a surprise.
Her fiance Nick Jonas along with producer Siddharth Roy Kapur were also present at the party, apart from PeeCee's brother Sidharth Chopra. Apparently, Siddharth and Shonali also had a short speech prepared for the occasion. It was a very emotional moment for the entire team.
It was a small celebration with some cake cutting and dancing on one of PC's song, Tenu Leke Main Javanga, giving everyone major wedding feels. The entire team of RSVP and Roy Kapur Films wished best of luck to the bride-to-be, who is going to step into a new phase of her life.
The Sky is Pink is based on the life of motivational speaker and author Aisha Chaudhary who was diagnosed with an immune deficiency disorder. Priyanka and Farhan Akhtar are playing parents to the character of Aisha, which is essayed by Zaira Wasim. The film is slated for release on February 22, 2019.
