Priyanka and Nick to spend a hefty Rs 3.93 crore on their stay and pre-wedding ceremonies in Jodhpur?

As we reel over the stunning pictures from Deepika Padukone’s and Ranveer Singh’s dreamy wedding in Italy's Lake Como, our eyes have now turned to Priyanka Chopra's and Nick Jonas' impending nuptials at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. The much-awaited wedding will be an intimate ceremony with pre-wedding festivities reportedly slated to begin from November 29. What's more, we now hear that the couple is expected to spend a whopping Rs 3.93 crore on their stay at the venue and pre-wedding rituals.

A leading daily quoted a hotel personnel of Umaid Bhawan Palace as saying, "None of the rooms are available on these dates (November 29-December 3). We have rooms till November 28 and again starting from December 4. We are completely booked for the five days in between." The staff further informed the daily about the the prices (per night, exclusive of taxes) for each room, which happen to be Rs 47,300 for palace rooms, Rs 65,300 for historical suites, Rs 1.45 lakh for royal suites, Rs 2.30 lakh for grand royal suites and Rs 5.04 lakh for presidential suites. Hence, the entire cost of staying at the grand yellow sandstone property comes to a hefty Rs 3.2 crore, excluding the other expenses like food.

Not to forget, the pre-wedding ceremonies, including the haldi, sangeet and mehendi, will take place at the Mehrangarh Fort. "The couple has booked the fort from November 29 to December 1. It will be closed for tourists on these three days," a source informed. Since an 80-odd member contingent will attend PC's and Nick’s shaadi, the three-day cost of setting up everything for the pre-wedding rituals adds up to Rs 73 lakh for the couple.

Rs 3.93 crore for just the stay and pre-wedding rituals? We are now certain that Priyanka is not leaving any stone unturned to make her wedding an affair to remember.

Meanwhile, Nick's brother Joe Jonas and his fiance Sophie Turner arrived in Mumbai on Monday night and both the Chopra and Jonas families are expected to fly to Jodhpur soon.
