Indian comedy king Kapil Sharma who was said to have wedding bells ringing by the end of this year, confirmed it this evening as he took to Instagram his wedding invitation. He will be tying the knot to his longtime girlfriend Ginni Chatrath on December 12.

Opening up on the topic of his marriage, Kapil had earlier said, "The wedding is on December 12 in Jalandhar. That's Ginni's hometown. We wanted to keep it low key. But Ginni is the only daughter in her family. Her folks wanted the wedding to be on a lavish scale. And I completely understand their sentiments. My mother also wants the wedding to be lavish."

The wedding will be a lavish and grand affair in Jalandhar. The Cabbana Resort and Spa also known as Club Cabbana which is on Phagwara-Jalandhar Highway, Punjab has been booked for two days as the wedding destination. The wedding festivities will include mehendi, sangeet, pheras and reception. The wedding rituals will take place at night.
