After Deepika Padukone’s and Ranveer Singh’s wedding in Italy's Lake Como, it is Priyanka Chopra’s turn to get hitched to her beau Nick Jonas. The wedding festivities of the much-in-love couple are slated to begin from November 29 and will reportedly conclude with a Christian wedding on December 3. While the couple had finalised the regal Umaid Bhawan Palace for their nuptials, the pre-wedding ceremonies, including the haldi, sangeet and mehendi, were expected to take place at the Mehrangarh Fort.

However, we now hear that the venue of the pre-wedding functions have been moved to the Umaid Bhawan Palace itself due to security concerns. As per a report in a leading daily, "Priyanka wanted police protection to travel from Umaid Bhawan Palace to Mehrangarh Fort and she even hired a private security agency for the same. But the Jodhpur police refused to provide them protection citing the upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan."
Reportedly, an official from Mehrangarh Fort has also confirmed that Priyanka's and Nick's booking has been cancelled, which means the five-day extravaganza will happen at one venue.

Meanwhile, ahead of it, Nick Jonas’ brother, Joe Jonas and his fiancée, Sophie Turner arrived in Mumbai on Monday and Priyanka hosted a dinner for them at a popular restaurant in Juhu. Priyanka’s sister, Parineeti Chopra and close friend, Alia Bhatt were also spotted at the venue. Soon, both the Chopra and Jonas family will be heading to Jodhpur.
