After announcing her cancer diagnosis on Instagram, Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife Tahira Kashyap said in a post on Instagram that the “upgraded version” of herself is dealing with cancer stage 1 a. Her post is nothing short of inspirational as she shared a picture of herself in a tee, that read, ‘F*#* Cancer’, and explained that the best way to deal with cancer is to show it the way out.

It’s tough, certainly, but Tahira is a brave soul as she said that following the “early detection”, she has been advised to undergo 12 sessions of chemotherapy out of which, she is already done with six – and with the help of this statement – she explained the reason behind her sporting the ‘cap look’. “This post is dedicated to my journey where half the battle is won and the other half I want to fight with each of you who is enduring it. Be resilient, be strong, we shall overcome and how,” Tahira wrote in her post.

In fact, she also thanked Ayushmann and her best friend Komal Sehgal for supporting her throughput instead of giving up on her.

On September 22, Tahira revealed that she has been detected with pre-invasive breast cancer. She posted on Instagram that she was detected with DCIS (ductal carcinoma in situ) in her right breast with high grade malignant cells.
