Priyanka Chopra’s and Nick Jonas’s wedding is one of the most anticipated events of the year. Guests from all over the world have arrived in Jodhpur for their wedding. The couple’s friends and family members descended at Jodhpur as the pre-wedding festivities began today. The couple made their relationship official with a roka ceremony on August 18 this year and announced their engagement a month after Nick popped the question to Priyanka a day after her birthday.
Apparently, Nick whisked away PeeCee to Crete on her birthday and popped the question to her after midnight as he did not want their engagement anniversary to be the same as her birthday. He chose a beautiful engagement ring for her by closing Tiffany’s store at London. The couple in an interview to a leading entertainment magazine revealed how love blossomed between the two and Nick revealed that he went on his knees twice. The first time he went down on his knees it was at the Vanity Fair Oscars party and the other was when he proposed marriage.

Nick said during the interview, “I got down on one knee, again, and I said: Will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?” Priyanka was speechless t his proposal and Nick said, “No jokes-she took about 45 seconds. Forty-five seconds of silence. I’m going to put this ring on your finger now unless you have any objections.”

Talking about the ceremony and Nick, Priyanka said in the interview, “Nick did the Hindu prayers. The prayers are in Sanskrit. Even I can’t say them. But he did it in Sanskrit. The Indians were so impressed with their National Jiju.” Priyanka and Nick are going to get married in two different ceremonies-a white Christian wedding and a Hindu ceremony at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur.
