Actress Sonali Bendre Behl took everyone by surprise in July when she shared that she has been diagnosed with a high-grade cancer. Since then, she has been undergoing treatment for metastatic cancer in New York. Despite that, Sonali has always remained positive in her outlook as she battles the serious ailment, with support from her family and friends.
Now after months of treatment, Sonali has finally announced on Instagram that she is returning to India for a happy interval. Posting a picture of herself as she headed back to Mumbai, she wrote that the 'fight is not over yet' and staying away from home has made her realise what distance can teach.

"And now I'm on way back to where my heart is. It's a feeling I cannot describe in words but I'm going to try - it's the joy to see my family and friends again, the excitement to do what I love and mainly the gratitude for the journey I've had up until this moment," she further added.
We just cannot wait for her to be back in the bay!
Meanwhile, Sonali had earlier shared that her eyesight was becoming weak due to chemotherapy sessions but assured her fans that she is getting better with each passing day. Besides, Priyanka, Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Sussanne Khan, Hrithik Roshan and others had visited her in New York.
