It was only yesterday that actress Sonali Bendre Behl, who has been undergoing treatment for metastatic cancer in New York, announced on Instagram that she is returning home to Mumbai for a 'happy interval' with her family and friends. Now in the wee hours of Monday, our cameras spotted her as she finally returned to India and joining her was her husband Goldie Behl.
They both looked cheerful and twined in black as they arrived at the airport. What's more, Sonali greeted the paparazzi present there with folded hands as she made her way home. Check out the pictures:
Meanwhile, an elated Goldie told the media at the airport that his wife Sonali is 'recovering very well' and does not have to go back to New York for further treatment. "It's been six months and I would like to inform everybody that Sonali is doing good and she is back for good. Her treatment is over, for now, Sonali is absolutely fine. Just like what happens in such diseases -- regular checkups, regular scans that we have to do since this disease can come back," he said, as quoted by a leading daily.
Well, we wish that Sonali totally recovers from the serious ailment soon!
