We, as a nation, love to see emotional stories play out on the big screen. And biopics tap the very same nerve to bring something new, something about a person people might have heard of but not really known.
Joining the bandwagon of biopics, Siddharth Roy Kapur is set to bring to the big screen the story of Raja Ram Tiwari, a Samaritan who for 70 years of his life helped people trace their family members who got lost in Kumbh Mela, largest peaceful fair in India. The film has been titled as Bhule Bhatke Tiwari.
A source revealed, “It was Umesh (Raja Ram’s son) who shared his father’s story with Sid and his team of writers and it instantly captured their imagination. The film goes on floors in the second half of 2019 and noticeable names from the film industry will form a part of the ensemble cast.”
