As we all know, Ranbir Kapoor is in a happy relationship with Alia Bhatt and the two seem to be totally smitted by each other. His ex Katrina Kaif, on the other hand, is happily single and despite the fact that she is good friends with Alia even with her being involved romantically with Ranbir, we are certain that all is cool between the three.
But two years ago, things weren't as hunky dory as they look now. Katrina was apparently extremely heartbroken after things ended between her and the Kapoor scion and never really opened up about the split up until now. Speaking to a leading magazine, Katrina spoke at length about her breakup with Ranbir and how the last two years alone have helped her find herself, personally and professionally.

"I now see it (the breakup) as a blessing because I was able to recognise my patterns, thought processes and things that I had been so sure of my whole life. I could see them from a whole different perspective,” she pointed out.
Furthermore, Katrina maintained that the split helped her realise that she really had only herself to focus on. "It’s like a period of not knowing, a period of being uncomfortable because you’re seeing yourself in your raw form without embellishments and then accepting that you don’t really know who you are,” she added.
As they say, all is well that ends well!
Meanwhile, on the work front, Katrina will next be seen in Aanand L Rai's Zero apart from featuring alongside Salman Khan in Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat.
