Life has come to 'Zero'; full circle: Anushka Sharma on completing a decade in Bollywood and working with SRK

Ten years back, on December 12, Anushka Sharma made her dream debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Aditya Chopra's directorial Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Since then, there has been no looking back for the actress, who attributes her "unconventional" choices she has made as a performer and a producer as the reason behind her success in the film business.

At the press meet for her upcoming film Zero, in which she stars opposite her fav co-star Shah Rukh Khan and Jab Tak Hai Jaan co-actor Katrina Kaif (incidentally, the trio has worked together earlier in late Yash Chopra's last film), Anushka shed the light what has made her different from the others in past ten years. "Thanks to my instincts, I have always made unconventional choices and have created a different standing for myself in the film industry. If you say I was lucky, my take is, luck favours the brave. And I dared to follow my instinct. It wasn't a risky call, I did it because it always made sense to me," shared the actress.

On being asked how it feels to share the screen with SRK again, marking her 10th year (Zero releases on December 21), Anushka's answer had us in splits. "My life has come to a 'Zero' point, like round, full circle, as we say. From where it all started, there couldn't be a better film to mark the landmark in my career, working opposite Shah (SRK). This is the best coincidence ever," said the actress.

For the unversed, Anushka and SRK have worked together in three films till date, Rab Ne (2008), Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012), Jab Harry Met Sejal (2017) with Zero (2018) being their fourth collaboration together.

Post Zero, Anushka is not on a signing spree. She is rather keen on taking time to select her next project. However, as a producer, Anushka has a packed schedule with the series that her production house Clean Slate Films is doing with Amazon Prime Video and the film that is being produced for Netflix by the actress.
