It is a well-known fact that Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone were never the best of friends; in fact, the two leading actors have always shared cold vibes with each other owing to the fact that they both dated Ranbir Kapoor. They were cordial to each other in the media but their relationship soured when Ranbir started dating Katrina after breaking up with Deepika. The actresses took digs at each other at various shows and media interviews. Deepika even said that she would not invite Katrina for her wedding with Ranveer on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan. However, an invitation was extended to Kat for the reception from Ranveer’s end.

After Deepika’s and Ranveer’s wedding reception which Katrina attended the former extended an olive branch and followed Katrina on Instagram and even ended up liking her Vogue cover photos. On the other, Katrina revealed in an interview that she had a gala time at the reception and was on the dance floor till the wee hours.

Now, Katrina has responded in kind to the sweet gesture and has now started following Deepika back on social media. It seems the actresses have decided to bury the hatchet and move on in life since neither of them is with Ranbir now. This certainly shows that there are no permanent friendships or enmity in showbiz.

Earlier this year, Deepika had wished Katrina on her birthday on social media and Katrina too had congratulated the newlyweds Deepika and Ranveer on their Instagram accounts. Along with other Bollywood celebrities Katrina had wished the couple on tying the knot.
