Ranveer Singh who is busy with the promotions of his upcoming film Simmba, had recently been on the show, Kanpur Waale Khuranas. The cast of the show Sunil Grover and Aparshakti Khurrana teased Ranveer with the dialogue, ‘Ek Chutki Sindoor Ki Keemat’, from Deepika Padukone’s debut film, Om Shaanti Om.

They also pulled Ranveer’s leg about the multiple wedding celebrations and receptions that the couple had recently. Ranveer was accompanied with Rohit Shetty, director of Simmba. Farah Khan was also a part of the show. Together, they brought the house down.

Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot in two separate wedding ceremonies held in Lake Como, Italy. One was a Punjabi wedding and the other being a Konkani wedding. The pictures from the weddings were resplendent.

Talking about Simmba, the film also stars Sara Ali Khan opposite Ranveer, whose debut film Kedarnath has got mixed reviews. The much-anticipated film will have Ranveer playing a notorious cop who has an affinity with a local thug. This is until someone he is close to gets attacked, which changes his course of life. This is Ranveer’s first release after he got married to Deepika Padukone in November at an elaborate wedding. Simmba will hit the screens on December 28.
