Every Bollywood debutant ought to have a brother-in-law like Salman Khan! And Aayush Sharma must count his blessings. Buzz is that the Bhaijaan, who gave kid sister Arpita’s husband his Bollywood break in Love Yatri this October, is now taking the young actor’s career in hand further. We always thought that Aayush, who shone with his dancing and earnest acting skills in the love story, was capable of bigger and more serious roles. And apparently, Salman thinks that as well. For he’s remaking the Marathi film Mulshi Pattern with Aayush in the lead.
Mulshi Pattern, a November hit, is a stark portrayal of the hardships, poverty and frustration faced by farmers in Pune’s Mulshi taluka who turn to petty crime after losing their land. Some of them even become gang lords. According to IMDb, the film lays bare the deep flaws of the system which turns the farmer into a criminal and a social outcast. The film, among other actors, had Salman’s friend Mahesh Manjrekar. Salman has acquired the Hindi remake rights for Mulshi Pattern and has cast Aayush in the lead role. The young actor is training in action, we hear.

But this time we hope Salman makes an appearance in Aayush’s film. After all, if he’s doing that for Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero, and if he did that for the Deols’s Yamla Pagla Deewana 3, then what’s stopping him from stepping out for the family?
That’s not all. Aayush is also supposed to be doing an underworld film with Sanjay Dutt. Now we wonder how that happened because when last heard, Salman and Dutt were not on the friendliest terms.
