As per a leading daily, a source from the production team of the film has revealed, "We sourced pictures of that era from local museums and referred to several books. While the original fort is built with a substantial amount of teak and stone, we used lighter material for the framework and used limestone as the finishing material to give it the right look. We have kept Balkawade in the loop to make sure we are adhering to the architectural style of the era."
