Did you know Shah Rukh Khan wanted to show 'Zero' to Sridevi first?

Shah Rukh Khan’s fans are waiting for his upcoming film Zero’s release with bated breaths. Speculations have been rife that the film also features late Sridevi. At first, rumours had it that the late actress was likely to be seen in a song in the film. However, recently, Shah Rukh shared that Sridevi will be seen in a sequence in Zero.

During an interview with a leading television channel, Shah Rukh shared, “That sequence is actually not a long sequence. It's not in any which way...it's not an ‘Item’ - presence, honestly. And It's wrong to even kind of feel, ‘Oh, it's a privilege to have had her in the film’, because, you know, just the loss is so great. And I hope wherever she is, she makes the world happy like she's done. I kind of started my career when I came and did Army (1996) with her and then she's no more and I have a little scene with her, so it's heartening that way.”

Shah Rukh added, “None of us wishes, we wish she was alive and it would've been nicer. And now that you have mentioned it, I am just thinking, if we have a trial for the film, she would've been the first person, I would've called. So, it's sad. I really wish her children, her husband, and whole family very well.”

If speculations are to go by, the film will have a special sequence with not just late Sridevi but also Alia Bhatt, Rani Mukerji, Karisma Kapoor, and Kajol, including some other names. Zero is set to hit the theatres on December 21. The film will feature Anushka Sharma essaying the role of a NASA scientist, Aafia Bhinder with Cerebral Palsy while Katrina Kaif will be seen in the role of Babita, a fading movie star.
