Mom cried in the climax, so that was a big one for me: Sara on mom Amita Singh’s reaction to Kedarnath

Sara Ali Khan made an impressive debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath opposite Sushant Singh Rajput. She has become the country’s sweetheart with her spunky appearance on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan. The actress has been lauded for her acting ability and screen presence and apparently, the best praise has come her way through her mother, veteran actress Amrita Singh.

In an interview with a leading daily, Sara was asked what her mother felt after watching her debut film. To this, Sara said, “Mom had heard the narration and she had also seen some rushes. But she still cried in the climax, so that was a big one for me."

Sara will be next seen in Simmba that stars Ranveer Singh in the lead. In the recreated song, Aankh Marey that was released a few weeks back she reminded everyone of Karisma Kapoor from her 90s films. The film is directed by Rohit Shetty and will release on December 28.
