The grand wedding was attended by not only the country’s and the world’s business leaders but world leaders, Bollywood celebrities and sports icons. Now the wedding has found a place in Amul’s latest topical advertisement as well.
Amul featured the newlywed couple in their vanilla-coloured outfit bedecked with jewels and came up with an adorably funny pun to congratulate them in its latest cartoon. The advertisement’s creators wrote, “’Am’bun’i weds Pir’amul'with a tagline, “What a spread!”. They captioned the topical as, “#Amul Topical: High profile, glitzy wedding!”

The wedding was a gala affair and started off with a bang in Udaipur with pre-wedding festivities that had Beyonce giving a private concert for the guests at the wedding. Bollywood celebs like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan and many others performed at the sangeet ceremony as well. Former US First Lady Hillary Clinton also attended the pre-wedding festivities and also attended the wedding ceremony at Antilla, Mumbai.
