Priyanka Chopra’s and Deepika Padukone’s wedding pictures made Katrina Kaif ‘sentimental’

2018 was the year of big fat Bollywood weddings with Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone; and Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tying the knot. The trend, in fact, commenced with Anushka Sharma’s and Virat Kohli’s wedding in 2017. Katrina Kaif, meanwhile, spoke to a leading website about these grand associations and said that pictures from the celebrations often made her sentimental.

“You do feel a little sentimental. I think as human beings we all want to feel loved and we all want to be loved and a wedding is always a reminder of romanticism and that wonderful feeling that you have when you are in love,” Katrina told the website.

Sonam and Anand married in May, Ranveer and Deepika in November while Priyanka and Nick married in a strictly private ceremony in December. Weddings are beautiful, Katrina said, adding that she is really happy for the couples. In fact, Katrina also said that she loved the pictures from the celebrations that appeared on her Instagram feed while her team also did the honours of enlightening her with details as such.

“They've all had such beautiful weddings. I feel very happy for all of them. They are all my colleagues from Anushka's wedding to Sonam's wedding which was....very beautiful. And Deepika and Ranveer's wedding now and Priyanka and Nick's... so there has been four big weddings in almost less than a year right? Wow, it's quite amazing actually if you see (laughs). But, they all look beautiful and I feel happy for all of them,” Katrina added.

Katrina, last seen in Thugs Of Hindostan, is gearing up for the release of her new film Zero, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma. Directed by Aanand L Rai, Zero is scheduled to release on December 21.
