Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen making an appearance on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan. Just like every episode of the show, this one will also bring to the table something new, and something old too. Interestingly, one anecdote from the past that Ayushmann shares with Karan is how during his struggling days as an RJ in 2007, Ayushmann asked KJo for his number saying, “Can I have your number? I want to be an actor” And Karan gave him a landline number.

Ayushmann candidly adds, “The next morning, when I called the number and asked to speak to Karan Johar, the person on the other line said, 'We don't audition outsiders and newcomers' or something like that.”

To this, Karan adds that Ayushmann must have been good and that Karan must have seen a potential in him that’s why he gave Ayushmann the right number. But Ayushmann does not give up easily, as he retorts that he wanted to reach the filmmaker which he could not do.

Ayushmann will be sharing the couch on the show with Vicky Kaushal. On the work front, Ayushmann’s last film Andhadhun, also starring Tabu was much liked by his fans and minted good money at the box office.
