It's a wrap for Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starrer Kesari; film to release on March 21, 2019

After featuring in Rajinikanth starrer 2.0, Akshay Kumar is all geared up for his next film Kesari, directed by Anurag Singh. The actor plays as a Sikh warrior war drama, which is based on the Battle of Saragarhi in which an army of 21 Sikhs fought against the Afghans in 1897. Now on Monday, Akshay revealed that the film's cast and crew has wrapped up the shooting of the film in Jaipur and it will hit the screens finally on March 21, 2019.

Sharing an overwhelming picture of himself as a turbunator with a beard as he perfects the role of Havildar Ishar Singh, he wrote that Kesari is a film that has swelled up his chest with immense pride. Take a look:

Akshay has collaborated with filmmaker Karan Johar's Dharma Productions for the film, which also co-stars Parineeti Chopra. The actress too shared a picture from the film's sets as she thanked the makers. And we must say, we are delighted to see her in a Punjabi kudi avatar.

Ever since the first look of Akshay from Kesari was released, his fans couldn't contain their excitement with several claiming that the orange turban suits him to perfection. In fact, the 51-year-old actor has been equally happy about his look and had said in an interview that every time he wears the taaj (turban) on his head, he is "filled with pride".

The tagline of the film is, "Aaj meri pagdi bhi Kesari...Jo bahega mera woh lahu bhi Kesari... Aur mera jawaab bhi Kesari" and we cannot wait for Kesari to release soon.
