As Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Zero, trade pundits are constantly discussing the importance of the Aanand L Rai-directed project for the actor considering the fact that his previous releases Fan, Raees and Jab Harry Met Sejal didn’t perform well at the box office. SRK, however, isn’t concentrating on the success of Zero as he told a leading daily that if the film “doesn’t work”, he might not get films for a while but will continue to get work if he believes in his craft.
“See, I can't change that, and if I can’t change something, why should I think about it? If people feel that Zero is very important for me, it's their feeling. God forbid, if this film doesn't work, what will happen? Maybe, I won't get work for six months or 10 months, but if I believe that my craft and art is good, I will continue to get work,” SRK told the daily.

In fact, SRK has his plan – B set as well. “Then, I will probably make a comeback which I have been doing for the last 15 years (laughs), or maybe, the comeback won't happen. The trade world has a point of view about a film's business, and they are right from their viewpoint. Main dekhta hoon ki is film ki story kya hai? Or is mein nayapan kya hai? That’s more important to me,” he added.
SRK has been witnessing a rough patch at the box office ever since the release of Fan in 2016. While critics appraised his performance in the film, it didn’t fare well. After Fan, SRK appeared in special appearances in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Dear Zindagi following which 2017 opened with his much-anticipated Raees.

Unfortunately, Raees as well didn’t perform as expected while Jab Harry Met Sejal, which starred Anushka opposite him, also tanked.
Zero co-stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. It is scheduled to release on December 21.
