Shah Rukh Khan reveals what happens every time he is with Salman and Aamir

Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are the country’s biggest superstars. Their films get guaranteed openings and achieve big numbers at the box office because of their star value as well. Often, the media try to pit the three Khans against each other to elicit some rivalry or ill feeling amongst them. However, Aamir, SRK and Salman have always appeared to be on the best of terms with each other and often regale their fans with their camaraderie and friendship.

Shah Rukh in a candid conversation with a leading daily, opened up about the relationship he, Aamir and Salman shares amongst them and also revealed what transpires when they meet in person. SRK said, “The other day, the three of us were together from 9 pm to 8 am. When we meet, we know we are friends. We just keep talking, laughing and pulling each other’s legs. Strangely, while doing that, we’re also extremely sensitive about each other’s losses, sadness and happiness.”

He said, “Having said that, I have a certain respect for Aamir and Salman, which is beyond the fact that I’m their friend. And they hold that, too. So, on public platforms, we’re not like that. I think it was Aamir who said, that if people saw us together, they would say, ‘Arrey, teeno toh bilkul star type nahin lagte,’”

SRK also said that it’s been 25 years since he knows the two superstars but they never discuss films and work when they meet. He sauid, “We don’t ever chat about work. We just have fun. I’ve known them for 25-26 years now. Whenever I’ve met them, from the time I started to last night, I don’t consider us as a triumvirate, people see it that way. The achievements of Aamir and Salman are outstanding, the ease with which they do it, and the love they have. People don’t see that.”

2018, has not been kind to either of them. Salman’s Race 3 and Aamir’s Thugs of Hindostan did not appeal to the audience and they failed to deliver at the box office. Shah Rukh’s Zero that released last Friday has also received mixed reviews from the critics as well as the audiences alike.
