Simmba highlights several issues including the empowerment of women and fighting crime against women. It narrates Sangram Bhalerao’s journey as his character undergoes a valiant change in the film – from a corrupt cop, Bhalerao turns into a determined police officer, who sets out on a quest for justice to avenge a woman’s rape and subsequent death.
Simmba is the remake of Telugu film Temper and is scheduled to release on December 28. It is Sara’s second film after Kedarnath, which marks her debut in Bollywood.
