On the day of its trailer release, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s upcoming film Thackeray based on the life and times of Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray, has landed into trouble as the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has objected to three scenes.
The makers have claimed that of the three cuts suggested in Abhijeet Panse's directorial, the first one is a reference to Babri Masjid that CBFC wants to be removed. While the second is a Thackeray's comment pertaining to the agitation against South Indians, the last one dialogue contains some words that are termed objectionable by the CBFC.
