Bollywood film and controversies go hand in hand in India. As soon as a film is announced there are several controversies which follow the makers and the actors of the film. This is exactly what happened when the trailer of Vijay Gutte's upcoming film The Accidental Prime Minister was released yesterday. The film stars Anupam Kher as Manmohan Singh, Akshaye Khanna as Sanjay Baru, Aahana Kumra as Priyanka Gandhi, and Suzanne Bernert as Sonia Gandhi. The trailer received immense love but also became the hot topic for several political parties. Finally, reacting to all the political debate that sparked off after the trailer release, Anupam Kher took to Twitter and said, “I am not going to back off. This is my life’s best performance. #DrManmohanSingh will agree after seeing the film that it is a 100% accurate depiction.”
