Bollywood's two favourite Khans, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, have shared screen space in several films together in the 90's, including Karan Arjun and Kuch Kuchh Hota Hai. Despite having differences over the years, both of them move past it and are often seen doing cameos in each other's films. Interestingly, over the last few months, speculations have been rife that Salman and SRK would star together again, that too in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, however there was no official confirmation from any side.
Now adding to the excitement, we hear that the Padmaavat director is indeed planning a project with the two Khans and wants to cast them in a Saudagar like film. A leading daily quoted a source as saying, "Sanjay is contemplating a subject like Saudagar, in which Salman and Shah Rukh play friends who have a fallout and become sworn enemies, only to let bygones be bygones towards the end of the story to re-unite against a common enemy and for greater good."

The source further added, "However, he’s being utmost cautious that it’s not seen as inspired from Subhash Ghai’s 1991 superhit starring Dilip Kumar and Raaj Kumar." Well, if SLB manages to get them on board, it would be interesting to see Salman and SRK to carve their magic on the silver screen once again.
