Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khatter made his Bollywood debut with Shashank Khaitan’s Dhadak opposite Janhvi Kapoor in Dhadak. The debutant captivated everyone with his performance in the film and captured hearts with boyish charm and excellent acting chops. Ishaan has done two films till date, his first being Majid Majidi’s Beyond the Clouds alongside Malavika Mohanan, the other being Dhadak.
Now an entertainment portal has reported that the actor has been approached by the makers of Vijay Deverakonda’s Telugu hit Geetha Govindam to star in its Hindi remake. The portal reported that the producers are keen on getting Ishaan on board for the lead role.

Geetha Govindam was directed by Parasuram, but the director for the Hindi remake has not been finalized yet. The female lead also has not been finalized yet. It will be interesting to see Ishaan step into the shoes of Vijay if he gives his nod to the film especially when Janhvi spoke so much about the south star on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan. It will be kind of prophetic if Janhvi’s co-star Ishaan takes up the role of Vijay in the film.
