2018 has been a fabulous year for Ranveer Singh, both professionally and personally. Apart from tying the knot with his ladylove Deepika Padukone after six years of courtship, the fantastic actor gave two blockbuster hits, Padmaavat and the recently released Simmba. Not to forget, he has an interesting lineup of films ahead, including Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy, Kabir Khan’s 83 (the biopic of former cricketer Kapil Dev) and Karan Johar’s period drama Takht. But despite everything going wonderful for the exuberant performer, he is a tad bit sad that he won't be sharing screen space with his wife Deepika in 2019.
Talking about it, Ranveer told a leading daily, "My wife and I will not have a film together this year. I’m hoping that filmmakers will approach the two of us with a script that we like and can take it forward. I’m looking forward to sharing screen space with her."

Terming DP as one of the "finest actors" and claiming that her true potential hasn’t been tapped into yet, Ranveer further elaborated how the chemistry between them is "extra special". Well, we cannot help but agree with him and their films Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela (2013), Bajirao Mastani (2015) and Padmaavat (2018), are proofs of their onscreen camaraderie.
The actor admitted by saying that he and Deepika are certainly looking forward to work with each other again. "I get very excited about her work. It would be awesome if someone came along with a script that both of us found exciting. I will jump at it and I’m guessing she will also like to do it," Ranveer concluded.
Well, we hope to see them on the silver screen soon!
