In a rather shocking revelation, Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan shared on social media that his father Rakesh Roshan has been diagnosed with early stage "squamous cell carcinoma of the throat" (throat cancer) and the 69-year-old actor-filmmaker will undergo a surgery today for the same. He also shared a picture of them together from the gym before their workout and said that his dad is in "full spirits today as he proceeds to battle it."
"As a family we are fortunate and blessed to have a leader like him. Love you Dad," Hrithik captioned the post. Soon after, comments started pouring in as his fans wished that he gets well soon. Well, we hope so too!
