Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar will appear together in a horror comedy, which will be produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions while newcomer director Bhanu Pratap Singh will helm it, a leading daily reports. Sources told the daily that the film is an “interesting mix” of fun and horror and Vicky has commenced shooting for it as well.
“The film is funny yet scary. It’s an interesting mix and when Vicky was approached for it, he instantly took an interest. Bhanu developed the characters and the actor has already started shooting for the movie,” a source was quoted as saying by the daily.

Bhumi’s role, on the other hand, will create an impact, as told by the source. “The makers have got Bhumi Pednekar on board. It’s a small but impactful role. When they were scouting for a face from the younger generation, they thought of Bhumi as she fit the character,” the source said, adding that Bhumi has begun filming as well.
“She has a few days of work on the movie, before she begins her next — Womaniya,” the source added.
No other details have been made available so far while the actors, as well as the production house, are yet to issue an official confirmation.

Apart from the film in question, Bhumi and Vicky also co-star in Karan Johar’s Takht, co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh and Anil Kapoor. It is expected to begin filming in August.
Vicky’s new film Uri: The Surgical Strike will release on January 11 while Bhumi will appear next in Sonchiriya opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.
